 History of the Club
        The Boy's & Girl's Club of Taunton was one of the first Boy's & Girl's Clubs in the United States to construct its own building (1913).  Hundreds of business and community leaders, thousands of families and countless children will attest to the critical importance and lasting benefits of our Boy's & Girl's Club.  Located in the city's downtown business district, the building has been heavily used by thousands of children over the years.  In 2000, we opened a sixteen thousand square foot Child Care Facility in the Myles Standish Industrial Park.  In June of 2006, we opened an outdoor day camp (45 acres) at Lewis Park for children ages six through thirteen.  Today, we annually serve over 3,000 youth from Taunton and surrounding communities.
